Aragorn the Ranger

A bunch of us at Weta decided to do our own take on Aragorn, arguably one of the coolest characters committed to screen. We gave ourselves the whole of April to do a design, it became commonly known as #aprilgorn.

I wanted to design him as an older man, after the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Whispers of a new evil brewing in the north has pulled him away from Gondor, forcing him back into his ranger ways of old...
